Who's the Third Person

Baseball is one of my favorite sports to watch in person. More of that in the next entry. If you have never seen Rafael Palmerio play I suggest you you do so. This means you for the people in American League cities like Chicago, Oakland, Minnesota and of course Baltimore. He became only the forth player in MLB to have 500 home runs and 3000 hits. Do you know the other three? Babe Ruth, Hank Aarron and Eddie Murray. By the way if you go to this site you can look up MLB, and personal milestones that may be happenning at park near you. Like Ken Griffey passing Mickey Mantle for 40th place all time with 1403 RBI's this weekend against my Brewers. It is called a mielstone tracker and you can find it on the lefthand side unser stats at www.mlb.com

July 4th 2005

We made a return to the Racine 4th of July Parade The one that starts around 8:30 AM with the miles of police and fire cars and then miles of JI Case tractors. The parade usually lasts until 11:30 or so. Jack made a hat at school for "Happy Birthday America". I am sure every parade in the United States did this but I still think it's cool to see real people doing an enactment of Iwa Jima. In fact that is also my favorite monument in D.C. Also unlike the earlier report, from WTMJ's Bill Michaels, Herb Kohl and Michael Jordan meeting at Rock Bottom Brewery I have a picture of the Senator and Milwaukee Buck's owner Herb Kohl in Racine.

I went to the annual Pay Spam Commander Party for the first time. Spam camping for me will be from August 12-14 at Nelson Dewey State Park. Here is Jimmy D. Connie and Jeanette.

Working In Milwaukee

I have now been working for over six months at a wonderful place called Big Bang. I have my own office for the first time ever. The pictures are taken from a walking only bridge across the Milwaukee River. The State Street bridge is under construction and won't be done for another year although the Kilbourn tunnel temporarily opened just in time for Summerfest.
