You Know you're a Redneck

One of the nicest people I have dealt with on the phone sent me this link. Thanks Lorrel! Yes I know it is old, Yes I know there are pop-ups. Yes I know there is a lot of reading. I still thought it was killer. Here I thought I was the only one who had issues with his neighbors. I was dieing of laughter after reading this.

Spring Green Wisconsin

I planned a surprise weekend getaway with my wife. We went to Spring Green, Wisconsin. John Kerry was there preparing for the up coming Presidential debates. This is as political as I get. We went to see a play called London Assurance at the American Players Theater. It was outdoors and a little cold. We went to House on the Rocks, which hasn't changed much except for the Infinity room. I tried using the wide-angle lens and the new flash for the orchestra shot. We also spent time at Cave of the Mounds. For Sponge Bob fans this is the very first Patrick! We also drove by Taliesin a Frank Lloyd Wright building along with another of his works, a house that was for sale.

15 Years!

Today is my 15 year anniversary. My wife made it possible for me to cross two things off of my Wisconsin always wanted to do list. We spent the weekend next to John Kerry in Spring Green Wisconsin. The picture is taken at House on the Rocks. It is hard to believe that one person so special to me has been a part of my life for more than half of my life. Happy Anniverasy Hon, love ya.

Fantasy Football

It's that time of the year again. I am in 2 different leagues this year. Thanks Siobhan for letting me participate. Both are run from web sites that charge for the service. I really like Statsworld better. This is my 4th year in the one league. Here are John and Brian two of the other 7 team owners.

Jack is a Boy

Jack is pictured here playing Army Guy at one of neighbor’s homes. He also likes dirt and loves to run the bases. Note to Mom. White shirts and infield dirt don’t mix.

Dad' House Gulf Shores Alabama

This pictures are very huge. I again found these at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's web page. If you want to see a four meg blow up of the area click here. I must remember to thank one of my co-workers, Dan for pointing this site out. Below is a oriented image of my Fathers Apartment complex notice the pool which now has no deck around it It is the one on the North side shaped like a U. Also the 3 foot high sand dunes all the way down the road! Does anyone know which picture to look at to see the Flora-Bama Lounge.

Amusement site?

I ran accross this web site while looking at the new water park, Hurricane Harbor, opening in Gurnee in 2005. But this is an amusement park that was revolutionary and now is completely destroyed, I had a change to go there when I was younger but I always thought how could Old Chicago be better than Marriotts.

I've got to test drive one of these

Someone at work showed me a link to this. I don't think I'll be buying one soon but it looks too cool. I wonder if a hummer would fit in the back of the CTX

Storm Tracker

This web site rocks! It has tons of cool and complicated stuff. But here is something that makes you say "Really ya think" It also makes me want to ask what anyone is doing in a highrise building in a huricane. Would you be in 30 floor building with 135 mph winds?

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 135 MPH...WITH HIGHER GUSTS. SOME
FLUCTUATIONS IN INTENSITY ARE POSSIBLE PRIOR TO LANDFALL...BUT IVAN
IS EXPECTED TO MAKE LANDFALL AS A MAJOR HURRICANE...CATEGORY THREE
OR HIGHER. OCCUPANTS OF HIGH-RISE BUILDINGS WITHIN THE HURRICANE
WARNING AREA CAN EXPECT HIGHER WINDS THAN THOSE EXPERIENCED AT THE
SURFACE...ABOUT ONE SAFFIR-SIMPSON CATEGORY HIGHER AT THE TOP OF A
30-STORY BUILDING. AFTER LANDFALL... HURRICANE FORCE WINDS COULD
SPREAD INLAND UP TO ABOUT 150 MILES NEAR THE PATH OF THE CENTER.

A Rock and Roll Great

I found this interesting as I have not only heard the statement he coined but have used it myself with out acknowleging the source. "Elvis has left the building" I also have two friends that have dogs that are named after the king. One is Elvis the other is Presley. Here is one of his stills from Viva Las Vegas.
